With 27 years of experience as a GIS Specialist at EPD, John Douglass plays a crucial role in the development and implementation phases of a project. His experience in GIS related projects include: comprehensive plans, greenway plans, master site plans, and natural infrastructure plans. Working on a wide range of projects, he has enjoyed watching them come to life in Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he grew up in the Mon-Valley and currently lives in Elizabeth Township with his wife and two daughters.  He takes great pleasure in being a “Soccer Dad” and participating in his daughters’ other activities.
