Jacob is a Landscape Designer with a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Geography from West Chester University before going off to Madagascar to serve as an agricultural extension agent in the Peace Corps for two years. In Madagascar, he got valuable experience working in a local setting with a limited budget to achieve his community’s food security goals.
With a passion for trails, greenspaces, and maps, Jacob was nurtured by the many miles he has run, hiked, and biked throughout the country. He also enjoys live music and kayaking.
In addition, Jacob’s experience in GIS related projects include: comprehensive plans, zoning ordinances, park and recreation plans. He is able to effectively utilize programs such as Microstation, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and other GIS/CADD packages.
