Carla Lukehart is a registered Landscape Architect in Pennsylvania. She is also a LEED® Accredited Professional, EcoDistricts® Accredited Professional, and Phipps Sustainable Landcare Accredited Professional. Carla holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s in Natural Resources Management from the University of Maryland.
Throughout her 18 years of experience, she has a passion for connecting people to the natural world through thoughtful planning and design. Ms. Lukehart focuses on the use of green infrastructure, native plant palettes, and the understanding of natural processes to help mitigate the effects of climate change and human development. She aims to create an outdoor design aesthetic that is beautiful, ecologically functional, and equitable to all communities.
Carla also effectively utilizes programs such as: Microstation, AutoCad, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Sketchup, Lumion, and InfraWorks. She also has strong knowledge of planting design, native plants, edibles, and stormwater friendly plant varieties.
