Gia Qin


Director of Urban Design

Gia leads the Urban Design practice in the EPD office. She brings more than 10 years of multi-disciplinary work experience in brownfield revitalization, waterfront low impact development, and walkable community strategic planning from various geological regions from New York to Southern California. Gia endeavors to emphasize sustainable design solutions that reconcile built and natural spaces. The most rewarding part of her job is to see the revitalization of communities through the effort of design. She currently serves as design committee member for the Design Pittsburgh, AIA Pittsburgh and visiting critic at Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture.
