Engagement

Successful projects are grounded in an effective engagement process. Discussing issues and opportunities with the client and the project's key constituents or stakeholders is important for building an awareness of issues, an understanding of facts and ownership of viable solutions.

EPD uses a multitude of engagement techniques and venues throughout a planning or design process. Each technique or venue needs to be strategically introduced. Most importantly, engagement needs to be conscious of the participants' depth of knowledge, but in all cases must be informative, stimulating, enriching and gratifying. We commonly design engagement processes that challenge participants through interactive dialogue that ultimately builds consensus, sets priorities and launches quick implementation.
